At The Baird Primary Academy, we believe that home-school relations are crucial to ensuring the best educational experience for our pupils. For this reason we include ideas from both pupil and parent voice in our practice as often as possible. We strive to consult our parents and carers on changes in policy and get parents involved as often as possible with their child’s learning.
As part of our approach to parent voice, we hold a parent forum three times a year. These meetings are an opportunity for parents to discuss the school improvement priorities and suggest ways to improve practice across the academy. In addition, key professionals will be invited to attend these meetings to share additional support with parents, such as e-safety information.
If, as a parent or carer, you are unable to attend these meetings but are keen to contribute, you are welcome to email discussion points to firstname.lastname@example.org prior to the meeting.
