The Baird Primary Academy is a nurturing and inspiring primary academy, catering to children aged between 3 and 11 years.
We want to be an academy where every child can taste success. Our culture of shared learning and mutual respect means all members of our school share in celebrating and taking pride in their successes and are inspired and supported to take the next step on their journey.
Our safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment helps our pupils develop the confidence to step out into an ever-changing world, equipped with the knowledge, skills, confidence, and compassion to make a difference.

Academy Information
Our Teaching and Learning
Our educational ethos embraces creative learning, and we aim to inspire and engage every pupil.
Our curriculum covers the building blocks of education: reading, phonics, spelling, writing and maths. Through creative teaching techniques, personalised learning and plenty of practical experience around the school grounds and local area, we motivate our pupils to become independent and collaborative learners.
We focus on building skills and giving children a deep knowledge that develops a lifelong love of learning. Our aim is for our children to leave us well prepared to thrive as they continue their educational journey and as citizens of their local community.
Working at The Baird is about helping a child succeed and knowing I have been part of that journey makes my job worthwhile. The team at the Baird all enjoy seeing children enjoy learning, smiling and laughing - to know they are happy makes us happy

Our Wraparound Care
In partnership with Magic Breakfast, our Breakfast Club runs from 07:45 – 08:45am very weekday in The Cabin. All attendees are welcome to a choice of delicious, healthy breakfast options to help set them up for a super school day.
