What is expected of my child within each Key Stage?

At present, the assessment arrangements are interim and therefore only in place until the end of July 2017.

The National Curriculum is broken down into a set of assessment statements for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, called the Interim Frameworks. There are only national assessment guidelines for the end of Key Stage 1 and the end of Key Stage 2, these are not broken down into year groups.

To meet the 'expected standard' pupils must achieve everything within the 'working towards' (if these statement exist for that subject) and everything in the 'working at expected standard' assessment statements.
